5. Prohibited Conduct

6. User Conduct and Content Standards

You agree not to post or transmit any content that is:

7. Content Rights and License

Your Content: You retain full ownership of all content you upload to Find Her Abroad, including photos, text, and other materials (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you grant Find Her Abroad a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform. You may remove your User Content at any time by deleting it from your profile or by closing your account.

Our Content: All intellectual property on the Platform—including logos, design, software, and proprietary content—remains the exclusive property of Find Her Abroad and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without prior written consent.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

If we offer premium features or paid subscriptions, the following terms apply:

  • Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Paid subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime through your account settings.
  • All sales are final unless otherwise stated.
  • Find Her Abroad reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days’ advance notice to active subscribers.

9. Moderation and Account Termination

Find Her Abroad reserves the right to monitor user activity for compliance with these Terms. We may, at our sole discretion, suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice or liability. Users whose accounts are terminated for violations forfeit any unused premium subscription time.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

  • We do not warrant the safety, accuracy, or compatibility of any user.
  • We do not conduct criminal background checks or verify identities.
  • We do not guarantee that you will find a match or that any relationship will develop.
  • We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Assumption of Risk

ASSUMPTION OF RISK: You acknowledge that meeting people online involves risk. We do not conduct background checks, verify identities, or warrant the safety of any user. You assume all risk associated with meeting users and agree to take reasonable precautions (meeting in public, telling a friend, etc.). We are not responsible for user conduct or harm arising from user interactions.

THE DECISION TO INTERACT WITH A MATCH IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR DISCRETION. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FIND HER ABROAD AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

We are NOT liable for:

  • Financial loss, including money spent on travel, gifts, or platform subscriptions.
  • Emotional distress, disappointment, or psychological harm.
  • Fraud or scams by other users.
  • Data breaches or unauthorized access to your personal information.
  • Service interruptions or technical issues.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for using the Platform.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Find Her Abroad and its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claim or demand made by any third party due to or arising out of:

  • Your use of the Platform.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of applicable laws or regulations.
  • Your User Content.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than litigation. Both parties waive the right to a jury trial. This agreement does not prevent either party from seeking relief in small claims court for claims under a specified amount.

Class Action Waiver: Users waive the right to join class actions.

16. Force Majeure

Find Her Abroad shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms if the delay or failure is due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, natural disasters, or technical failures.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Find Her Abroad and supersede any prior agreements or understandings related to the use of the Platform.
